Privacy Policy for Offline POS

This policy explains what information the Offline POS Android app ("the app"), made by the developer of Offline POS ("we"), collects, how it is used and the choices you have.
In short
- You do not need an account, and the app does not ask for your name or email.
- What you enter in the app is stored on your device, not on our servers.
- The app does not need the internet to work. When a connection is available, Google Fonts and Google ML Kit are used as described below.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Information you enter
The information you enter — customers and their balances, suppliers and purchases, products and stock, sales, payments and receipts, business details and app settings and profile details — is saved in a database on your device. If you add people such as customers or suppliers, this can include their names and phone numbers. You are responsible for having their permission to store it.
This information is not sent to us or to any server by the app. We, the developer, cannot see it.
If you use the backup or export feature, the file is created on your device and goes only where you choose to save or send it.
When you share something from the app (for example a receipt), Android's share sheet opens and the content goes only to the app or person you choose.
Internet use
The app works without an internet connection for its main features. It connects to the internet only for the purposes below:
- Google Fonts — downloads the fonts the app displays text in from Google's servers.
- Google ML Kit — may download model updates and send usage and performance metrics about the scanning feature to Google — never the camera images.
Permissions
Android asks for your permission before the app can use these. You can refuse or withdraw it in your device settings; only the feature that needs it stops working.

Third-party services
The app includes the following services from other companies. They handle data under their own privacy policies:

Sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Information is shared only with the third-party services listed above, for the purposes described, or when the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting your information
Information stored on your device stays there until you delete it in the app, clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
Third-party services keep data for the periods set out in their own policies.
Security
Your information is protected by the security of your device, such as your screen lock. Keep your phone locked and back up important data.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at sakhisolution@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If the app changes how it handles information, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
